This conceptual art project flows directly from my earlier technical research as to what will the Carbon Neutral ~ Post-Carbon Options for Australia Railway Locomotives. There in it quickly became apparent that for the increasingly arid future Australia faces the current international research trajectories (hydrogen economy, battery technology et al) WILL NOT be of any use addressing the land transport crisis that will cripple sparse arid countries such as this great southern land. With time-lines and business-cases for the most part beyond common short-term consideration another strategy to safely disseminate this work was required. Trained as a sculptor / conceptual artist the obvious answer for me then was a conceptual art-work as a series of fine-art print-works document the concepts. |
Individual pieces, or sets from these limited computer printed hand-tweaked editions (signed, number & dated) are now available directly from myself (or my agents). Originally the sales were via my old friends at Artarmon Galleries, sadly (as with many other businesses) the gallery’s operation (closed down due to the unexpected stresses precipitated by Covid19). Below are low-resolution (72 dpi) jpegs. The actual art-works are computer-graphic high resolution (600 dpi) A4 prints are on archival paper. The main image in each case being of the print source. The smaller images surrounding are sample details of from the individual tweaked [δ = deltas].
